In light of miniaturization of electronics devices, effective thermal management of such devices has become crucially important for further development for small and faster electronic devices.

The work at the School of Engineering, Monash University Malaysia, covers a wide range of topics on fundamentals and applications of heat and mass transfer processes for the electronics cooling, such as forced convection heat transfer and phase-change heat transfer.

Technologies based on these transport processes are investigated, such as microchannel heat sinks, heat pipes, micro heat pipes, nanofluids. Theoretical, numerical and experimental modelling is performed.
