Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) is a voluntary assistance program to help students to succeed in difficult units. PASS sessions are different from tutorials - they are more student-oriented.

Identified postgraduate and/or undergraduate students (those who got at least distinction in the units and maintain a credit average) are appointed as PASS leaders to help in these sessions. An academic and/or a postgraduate student act as PASS coordinators to oversee the implementation of this program for each unit.

In Semester 1 2016, PASS is offered for the following units. You may contact the unit lecturers for more details.

  • ENG1001 Engineering design: lighter, faster, stronger
  • CHE2161/MEC2404 Mechanics of fluids
  • ECE2041 Telecommunications
  • ECE2011 Signal processing
